"He was born in Ufa, Russia, graduated from the Yekaterinburg Art and Architectural University in 1990, with a Master’s Degree in Art and Architecture. On top of this he completed one more year doing post-graduate work at Liverpool University School of Artists and Architects, in Liverpool, England, in 1990-91. Michael has worked as a professional artist since 1985, first as a member of the Russian Independent Artists’ Union, “Vernisage”. And, between 1985 and 1990 he staged more than 30 exhibitions, throughout Russia, in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Ekaterinburg.

He has taken part in more than 50 exhibitions in Russia, Europe, USA, China and Canada. His paintings now live in prestigious private collections and famous galleries around the world. Over the past dozen years, Michael Ouzikov has exhibited his works in galleries in Toronto Canada, Amsterdam, Santpoort, Ijsselmuiden, and The Hague, Netherlands; in Bruges, Belgium; in Bremen, Heidelberg and Frankfurt, Germany; in London and Liverpool, England, in the United States, he has had exhibitions in Montclair, Wisconsin, Seattle, Washington, as well as in Naples, Florida and, most recently, in Shanghai, China.

Michael is a member of the European Creative Guild, London, UK. His paintings are found in many private collections in Russia, England, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, the United States, France, Japan, Argentina, China and Portugal. He received the Award of Excellence at the 26th annual World Architecture in Perspective Exhibition. The show was juried in Tokyo, Japan on February 12th, 2011. He is also the winner of the “Master” Award of the XXVII International Competition “Master class” in 2019, held under the auspices of the Academy of Arts of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg. He has works on permanent display at the Museum of Art (RAMA), Naples, Florida, USA, National Museum of Art in Ekaterinburg, National Museum of Art in Irbit, History Museum of War “Shuravi” in Ekaterinburg, and Museum of Art and Architecture in Ekaterinburg as well as in Sincere Art Museum of Shanghai, China"
